FAA/NFAA EVENT CORNER We just wrapped up our 5th Annual Youth Days event, celebrating young talents in both 3-D and Target Archery. Congratulations to this year's new champions! We welcome all of our youth back this August 22 for our annual 4-H Open House focused on 4-H Youth Archery! BRING A FRIEND! The CAC Family Archery Club recently completed running the National Veterans Golden Games in Tampa, providing a fun experience for disabled Veterans from around the country. Our CAC Club Championship and 4-H Open House will take place on the 3rd Saturday in August. Please plan on attending! Welcome to our 4-H club, a family-oriented program open to all youth ages 8 through 18. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 9 AM to engage in youth development, family values, community service, and more, including 4-H Youth Archery activities. Come out and join the fun! Use 'CONTACT US' and send us your email address and phone number for instructions on signing up for 4-H through the University of Florida's official 4-H website. Congratulations to all of our 2026 4-H award winners! Our club has once again earned the prestigious Emerald award for the 4th consecutive year—well done everyone! As you know, our program extends beyond 4-H competition, as we compete at both the Club and State levels through the FAA, with a special focus on 3-D and Target Archery events. We appreciate your support for our initiatives. In 2027, we will host the FAA 18 Meter and NFAA 300 events, along with the Vegas events. We will also host our Youth Challenge at each of these competitions to support other FAA 4-H clubs. Don't forget to participate in our outdoor events, including the 4-H State Championship, our FAA State Field Championship, and the Florida Sunshine Games. We are actively preparing for the 2026 4-H Public Speaking Event, which will involve everyone in attending the 2027 event this year—it's an easy project that is a required event to participate in! A special thank you to TSC in Brooksville for supporting our Family Archery Club this year—we truly appreciate you! Our next Food Drive delivery is scheduled for the 2026 Thanksgiving season. This initiative is also a project requirement, and we encourage everyone to participate as part of their citizenship and community service roles!
